හාමුදුරුවෝ සහ Face book

මෙම ලිපිය අතිශයින්ම මතබේදාත්මක එකක් වනු ඇත. මෙහි ලියැවෙන්නේ මාගේ පෞද්ගලික අදහසක් මිස මා නියෝජනය කරනු ලබන කිසිඳු සමාජ ආයතනයක අදහස් නොවේ.

මම පසුගිය දිනෙක face book හි මිතුරෙකු සොයද්දී හාමුදුරුවන් වහන්සේ නමකගේ profile එකක් හමුවිනි. එය එතරම් පුදුම සහගත දෙයක් නොවේ. පුදුමය වූයේ උන් වහන්සේගේ මිතුරු මිතුරියන් දකිද්දීය. සැබැවින්ම මම පුදුම වීමි. ඉන් පසුව මම මිතුරා සෙවීම අතහැර face book හි භික්ෂු profile සෙවීමි. බොහෝ ගණනක් හමු විය. එහෙත් ඒවා හැම එකක්ම මේ ලිපියට අදාල නොවනවා සේම හැම එකකටම මෙම ලිපියද අදාල නොවේ. මම මේ පිළිබඳව භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේ නමක් සමඟ සාකච්ඡා කළෙමි. ලැබුණු පිළිතුරෙන් බෞද්ධයෙකු ලෙස මට මහත් ලැජ්ජාවක් ඇති විය.

"මේකනෙ.....හාමුදුරුවන්ට face book යන්න එපා කියල බුදු හාමුදුරුවො දේශනා කරල නෑනෙ......" උන්වහන්සේ පැවසූවේ සිනහ සෙමිනි.

"අවසරයි හාමුදුරුවනේ.........එහෙම යන්නැයි කියල අනුදැන වදාරලත් නෑ නේද?........." මම ඇසුවෙමි.

භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලා face book ඇසුරු කිරීම දැඩි වරදකැයි කියන්නට මම උත්සාහ නොදරමි. ගැටළුව වන්නේ එම profile වල “friends” ලෙස ඇතුලත් කර ගෙන ඉන්නා අයයි. මේ බොහෝ profile fake හෙවත් ව්‍යාජ ඒවා විය හැකිය. එහෙත් භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලගේ සත්‍ය profile ද ඇති නිසා fake ඒවා සොයා ගැනීම අතිශයින් දුෂ්කරය.

භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේගේ profile එකක ගැහැණු ළමයෙකු මිතුරියක ලෙස සිටීම ගැටළුවක් දැයි යමෙකුට ප්‍රශ්න කල හැක. නැත…….. එය ගැටළුවක් නොවේ. ගැටළුව වන්නෙ ඔවුන් ඉන්නා ඉරියව් සහ ඔවුන්ගේ ඇල්බම තුල ඇති අනෙක් ඡායාරූපයන්ය.

අංගුත්තර නිකායේ චිත්නපරියාදානවග්ගයේ මෙසේ සඳහන් වේ. "මහණෙනි පුරුෂයාගේ සිත හාත්පසින් ඇඳ බැඳ ගැනීමට සමත් මේ ස්ත්‍රී රූපය-ශබ්දය-ගන්ධය-රසය-ස්පර්ෂය හා සමාන වෙන කිසිකුත් ස්ත්‍රියකගේ සිත ඇද බැඳ තබා ගත හැකි පුරුෂ රූපය-ශබ්දය-ගන්ධය-රසය-ස්පර්ෂය හා සමාන වෙන කිසිවක් මම නොදකිමි."

ගැටළුව භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලාගේ සිල් බිඳීම නොවේ. බුද්ධාගමේ බෞද්ධ භික්ෂුව පිළිබඳව ඇති වන වැරදි ප්‍රතිරූපයයි. වර්තමාන භික්ෂුව නියෝජනය කරන්නේ උන් වහන්සේලාගේ පරපුර පමණක් නොවේ. ආනන්ද, මහා කාශ්‍යප, සීවලී, මුගලන් වැනි උත්තම මහ රහත් භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලාගෙන් පැවත එන පරපුරයි. කෝටියක් සංවර ශීලය රකින්නට පොරොන්දු වී චීවරය දරා ගත්.......වැදූ මව් පියන්ගෙන් වැඳුම් ලැබූ ලක්ෂ සංඛ්‍යාත භික්ෂු පරපුරයි.

බොහෝ දෙනාගේ හිත සුව පිණිස ධර්ම ප්‍රචාරයේ යෙදෙන්නැයි භික්ෂු ශාසනය ආරම්භ කරමින් බුදුන් වහන්සේ දේශනා කල සේක. හාමුදුරුවන් face book එන්නේ ධර්ම ප්‍රචාරටය යැයි යමෙක් තර්ක කල හැක. සත්‍යයකි....... එය කල හැකි දෙයකි. එහෙත් බුද්ධ ශාසනය යනු marketing කල යුත්තක් නොවේ. ප්‍රචාරයක් ලබා දී ඇද ගැනීම බුද්ධාගමේ නැත. දීඝ නිකායේ පාථික සූත්‍රයේ ආකාරයට සුනක්ඛත්ත භික්ෂුව ශාසනයෙන් නික්මී යන්නට සැරසෙද්දී බුදුන් වහන්සේ දේශනා කළේ ශාසනයට එන හෝ යන අය පිළිබඳව උපේක්ෂාවෙන් බලනු විනා බලපෑම් නොකරන බවයි.

කාන්තාවන් නිසා බුද්ධ ශාසනයට නිගරු වේය යන වැරදි අදහස මේ ලිපියෙන් ගත යුතු නොවේ. එහෙත් සමාජ සම්මතයන් හා රීති අනුව බ්‍රහ්මචාරී ශාසනයේ එවැනි සබඳතා ශාසනයේ අනාගතය වෙනුවෙන් බලපෑම් ඇති කල හැක. ගෝතමී සූත්‍රයට අනුව කාන්තාවන්ට පැවිද්ද ලබා දුන් බුදුන් වහන්සේ

"ආනන්ද කාන්තාව තථාගත ශාසනයෙහි පැවිද්ද නොලැබුවානම් බ්‍රහ්ම චර්යා චිරස්ථායී වෙයි. අවුරුදු දහසක් පවතී. දැන් එසේ නොවේ අවුරුදු පන්සීයක් පවතී........." යනුවෙන් දේශනා කළ සේක.

භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලා සහ කාන්තාව සමීප ඇසුර අහිතකර බලපෑම් ඇති කරන බව එයින් කියවේ. ඒ මිස කාන්තාව හෙලා දුටුවේ නැත. අපදානපාලියේ ප්‍රජාපතී ගෝතමී අපදානයේ දැක්වෙන ආකාරයට පිරිණිවනට අවසර ඉල්ලූ මහා ප්‍රජාපතී ගෝතමි මෙහෙණිය අමතා

"ගෝතමිය...........කාන්තාවගේ ධර්මාභිසමය ගැන විමතියට පත් අණුවනයන්ගේ දුර්මත දුරු වීමට ඍද්ධි ප්‍රාතිහාර්ය පාන්නැයි" දේශනා කිරීම ඒ සඳහා නිදසුනකි.

"චේතනාහං භික්ඛවේ කම්මං වදාමී " යනුවෙන් බුදුන් වහන්සේ දේශනා කල බව මට වඩා හොඳින් භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලා දනිති. ඔබ වහන්සේලා face book යාමේ චේතනාව දන්නේ ඔබ වහන්සේලාම පමණි. එය පිරිසිදු නම් කිසිවකුට වරදක් නොවෙනු ඇත. එහෙත් එක් කරුණක් ලිවිය යුතුය.

දීඝනිකායේ මහා පරිනිබ්බාන සූත්‍රයේ මෙසේ දැක්වෙයි. "මහණෙනි....භික්ෂුව යම්තාක් කල් කලි නොපැනවූ නීති රීති අණපනත් නොපනවත් නම්….. පනවා ඇති නීති අණපනත් කඩ නොකරත් නම්….. පනවා ඇති ශික්ෂාපද සමාදන්ව ඒ අනුව කටයුතු කරත් නම් ඒතාක් භික්ෂුන්ගේ දියුණුවක්ම බලාපොරොත්තු විය යුතුයි. පිරිහීමක් බලාපොරොත්තු නොවිය යුතුයි."

මේ ලිපිය අවසානයේ කිසිවකුට චෝදනා නොකරමි. ඔබ වහන්සේලාගේ ක්‍රියාව අන් අයට බුද්ධාගමට පහර ගැසීමට තුරුම්පුවක් නොවිය යුතුයැයි පමණක් කියමි.

පන්සාලිස් වසක බුද්ධ සේවාව නිම කල තථාගතයන් වහන්සේගේ අවසන් බුද්ධ වචනය සිහිපත් කල යුතු යැයි සිතමි.

"භන්දදානි,……. භික්ඛවේ ආමන්තයාමී වො වයධම්මා සංඛාරා අප්පමාදේන සම්පාදේත...." දීඝ නිකාය මහා පරිනිබ්බාන සූත්‍රය

මහණෙනි....දැන් ඔබලා අමතමි. සංස්කාරයන් නැසෙන සුළුය. අප්‍රමාදව සම්පාදනය කරන්න.

එසේ සම්පාදනය කරන්නැයි දේශනා කළේ බැඳීම් නම් නොවේ යැයි මම විශ්වාස කරමි.

පසුවදන....

ඔබ වහන්සේලා facebook වෙතින් ඉවත් වීම කළ නොහැකිම දෙයක් නම් මිතුරු මිතුරියන් ඇතුලත් කරගැනීමේදී නැවත නැවතත් සිතා බලන්නේනම් එය ශාසනික සේවාවක්ම වනු ඇත.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException on iReport

I have installed an ireport on my RHEL server. When I try to start the ireport it gives an error as

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException

But I am able to use netbeans for development so I came to a conclusion that there cannot be a problem with java, and I assume that it cannot be a bug of ireports, because I have a server with identical configuration which ireports works perfectly.

I checked the /usr/bin java link

[root@krisha ~]# cd /usr/bin/
[root@ krisha bin]# ls -l java
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 2008-07-02 14:56 java -> /etc/alternatives/java
[root@shaamil bin]#

Oh... That's the problem. My java installation is located on /usr/java/jdk6, but the link (/usr/bin) is pointed to some other place.

I corrected and pointed as follows.

[root@krisha ~]# cd /usr/bin/

[root@ krisha bin]# mv java java.back
[root@shaamil bin]# ln -s /usr/java/jdk6/bin/java /usr/bin/java

PROBLEM SOLVED…

Java / JSF – Calendar control not working

I have developed a system on J2EE behalf for my last work place. Currently is maintained by the developer replaced for me. She called me last week and informed a nice problem. That all calendar controlls have stopped working. When click on calendar, No error messages, no popup and no other changes. The only thing which happens is it puts a “#” mark at the end of the address bar.
Environment:
1. CentOS 5
2. Tomcat
3. JSF
4. Netbeans 5.5

Eg:
http://localhost:8084/index.jsp

When click the calendar it change as
http://localhost:8084/index.jsp/#

I did some inquiries from her, because it could not be the problem of java script. Further ther is no way it could effect to all calendar controls at the same time, so what can be the problem?
Restarted all the services… Read the /var/logs…, checked the JDK and JRE, couldn’t find any alerts on above , my main problem still remained.
I did some guesses. I think it was a nice guess. Thought this could be a problem unique to this month (feb). I asked to change the system date to January. WOW. It iworked... then changed the date to current date (5th February 2009). then it stopped working again. Then I asked to change the date to 5th February 2008. Nice.. IT IS WORKING….. it means the problem is with the system date, when the calander comes to February 2009 the control stops working. (Problem is not month of February – it is February 2009) is there a relationship with leaning year? 2008 is a leaning year controll works fine. 2009 is a normal year controll stops working.!!
This is only a guess. Still I don’t know whats the reason or logic behind this. And also I didn’t test whether it can repeat for other years or not. I Just wanted to address this issue.

වෙන්න බෑ කියන වචනෙ පැත්තකට වීසි කරල දාන්න කාලෙ ඇවිල්ල. මේ ලිපියට කථා නායිකාව වෙන ජෙසිකා අපිට ඒ දේ කරන්න බලකරනව කියල මට හිතෙනව.

ජෙසිකා ඉපදුනේම දෑත් අහිමි දැරියක් විදියට. වෛද්‍ය විද්‍යාව කොයිතරම් දියුණු වුණත් ජෙසිකාට එහෙම වුණේ ඇයි කියල කියන්න එයාලට බැරිවුණා. පරීක්ෂණ වාර්ථා නිකම්ම ගොළු වුණා. බුදුන් වහන්සේට අනුව නම් කර්මයයි කර්ම ප්‍රතිඵලයි ගලපන්න පුළුවන් වෙන්නෙ බුදුවරයකුට විතරයි. ඉතින්........

දෑත් අහිමි වුණත් අනිත් හැම කෙල්ලෙක් වගේම ජෙසිකා වැඩුන, වැඩිවියට පත්වුණා, ජීවිතේට සුන්දර සිහින, බලාපොරොත්තු එකතු වුණා. ඒත් ඒව සුන්දර හීන විතරක් වෙන්න ජේසිකා ඉඩ දුන්නෙ නෑ. අද ජෙසික‍ උපාධිධාරිණියක්....

පීනන්න ජිම්නාස්ටික් සෙල්ලම් පෙන්නන්න විතරක් නෙවෙයි, ‍ජෙසිකා කියන්නේ ජාත්‍යන්තර ජිට් කොන්ඩෝ සම්මේලනයෙන් කළු පිටි දිනාගත් දක්ෂ ක්‍රීඩිකාවක්. කකුලෙන් පැහැදිලි අත් අකුරු ලියන්න විතරක් නෙවෙයි සාමාන්‍ය යතුරු පුවරුවෙන් ටයිප් කරන්නත් ඇය හපනියක්.

විශ්වාස කරන්න පුළුවන්ද.... ජෙසික කියන්නෙ ගුවන් නියාමක වරියක්.... මහපාරෙත් හරියට වාහන පදවන්න බැරි අපිට තියෙන්නෙ දිරිය හිතක් පමණක් උරුමව උපන් එහෙත් ලෝකය දිනනා මේ දිරිය යුවතිය පදවන ගුවන් යානයක් දිහා උඩබලන් ඉන්න තමයි.

ජීවිතේ අහිමී විය ගිය දෙවල් වලින් නොතැවී, හිමිවූ දේවල් වලින් සැනසෙන ඇය අපේ ජීවිතවලට අලුත්ම අලුත් පාඩමක් කියල දෙනව.....
